This is another photography scavenger hunt that I like to give my students as an in class assignment. It can really help student’s to start looking at things in a new and different manner for their photo subject matter.
Objective: To capture interesting photographs from everyday subject matter. Make sure that your photographs really show what the subject is asking you to depict. Make sure that they show this adjective visually.
Please find and photograph, in an unique and interesting manner, the following:
- Something Hard
- Something Soft
- Something Shinny
- Something Rough
- A Shadow
- A Light
- A Reflection (A object as reflected in a shiny surface.)
- A Refraction (An object as seen through a surface.)
- Repeating shapes (3 or more objects or shapes that are the same.)
- A unique or different shape. (This can be emphasized by either showing how the object is totally different from its surroundings or by isolating it.)
Try it yourself. How does this scavanger hunt affect the way your see things?
