This week I printed, framed, and donated this photograph of the Pennsylvania State Capital Building to “The Capital Chow-Chow” Benefit and Silent Auction. Sponsored by Howard Hanna in conjunction with Pinnacle Health and Penn State Hershey Medical Center proceeds will go to benefit The Childrens’ Free Care Fund.
Deciding to donate a piece of artwork to a benefit or a fund raiser is a great way to not only help out other people in need, but it is also a good way to introduce your artwork to new people. It can be a bit of a challenge selecting selecting a piece though. And there are some important questions you need to ask first. To read more about this process check back for the post “Questions to Ask when Donating Artwork to a Benefit or Auction”.
To see the complete selection of images from the Harrisburg State Capital Building, check out the upcoming post, “Photographing a Place Many Times” or check out the full collection here.
Better yet, join me in attending this event!
